overwelmed

Hameed mention on his blog that his work place has been very good to us lately. My work place has been very good to us too. My co-workers tracked us down on the hospital and sent us a big bouquet of flowers when Sami was born. Later, after Sami passed away, they have been checking on us regularly and offering help and shoulders to cry on. It is nice to have so caring people around you, especially since our families are so far away.

Today I went into work for a visit. And I learnt that not only my co-worker cares about us, all the parents cares too. There has been a large group of parents contributing money and asking staff to buy us something on their behalf. They just did not know what else to do. Some of the parents also wrote us cards.

My co-worker decided to give us the money instead of buying us something. As they said, flowers will die very soon and they wanted us to use the money for something more memorable. After talking to Hameed about it, we decided to save the money for now and later use them to buy something special for Sami's little brother or sister.

I'm still overwhelmed though about how much people care about us, but I think I really like it.

Sami

my beautiful boy was born August 6th. Unfortunately God needed another Angel and took Sami home to heaven on August 10th.

We appreciated the 4 short days we got to spend with Sami and seek comfort in the fact that he is in a better place now.

I am planning to make a blog with all of Sami's story soon. Until then here is a picture of my two boys.

We are finished - just need a good cleaning.. Anyway, my camera went on strike so I had to use our new video camera to be able to show this pretty pretty room :)

Then we started to play around a bit with the editing and music option and got a lil movies out of it. Yeah I know the music dont really fit, but it was a first try. Enjoy.

My mother in law has been complaining that all the belly shots we have taken so far has just been of my belly. She wanted a picture of the whole me. So here it is - all of me and Hameed.

long time no blog..

Im too lazy..figured I needed to update this place a little bit..

We are doing good, getting big and round :) Here is a picture taken yesterday:



We are getting ready for the big day in August and only have a few more things we need to get before that (and Im glad for that since its getting harder to get aorund everyday)

Anyhow yesterday we went shopping for toys and that was pretty cool.

Hameed has tested it already and commented that the baby will get the toys right in his face. I had to point out to him that Goofy will be a tiny bit smaller then his daddy... at least in the beginning.

The coolest thing we got though was this musical 'box' sort of thing to hang on the cot. It plays music and then some birds dances around, but if you press a butten you get the bird dancing around as a light show in the ceiling. That is awsome :)

We really like this thing and played a lot with it last night, if we keep going like this we will have to buy new batteries before August...
